Orphaned along with four other siblings, his parents dying in a salvage operation. Jared was taken to the Temple at age 5 his grandparents turning him over to a Jedi who had found he had the force power.His other siblings are on Corellia with his grandparents, Georgina and Evan Call. His siblings David, Karen, Kevin and Sara.
Jared had passed his Jedi Knight test and wasn't assigned a padawan yet, having been sent on a mission by one of the council members before Order 66 had been put in place. The assignment was to escort someone to Nar Shadaa but not as Jedi but as a bodyguard, while said person was doing some business.Order 66 hit, Jared's Protectee disappeared and he was left on Nar Shadaa. Jared had been keeping to himself, doing odd jobs, waiting for an opportune time to get off the planet.
