Chapter Eight: The Temple

The Old Temple
Mira looked down at the scenery below, the stretches of forest and woodlands, the silver ribbon of rivers and streams, she was smiling with some fond memory of some of her experiences here. They weren’t all bad.Her brow did furrow as she remembered the other not so pleasant memories. She did though learn from them. She directed her Thranta, to fly over the stretch of railroad tracks, upon which was a train, its smokestack belching forth a cloud of smoke and steam. Veering away from that and going more into the direction of the Temple, the landscape grew even more mountainous with crags and sharp jagged formations of rock. She kept a sharp eye out, for the area where she had been told they would be able to land.
Her thranta circled the area, then landed on a stone clearing, barely large enough for those Thrantas which her group were riding. When it settled, Mira lightly sprang from the back of her mount to the solid stone, with the grace of a dancer.
“We are here.” she called out to those with her.
At first glance around it didn’t seem that there was any way to access the temple from where they stood. Mira walked close to the granite walls of the building which was built into the side of the mountain, closed her eyes touching the surface. She knew that not all would seem obvious, this included a door which would be hidden. Concentrating, she allowed herself to meld with the force in order to find that what wasn’t seen. Her fingers found the one area where she needed to press, the door revealing itself by its seamless design sliding to one side. The air from the sealed side rushed out towards the more fresher air, bringing out with it a cloud of dust and stale air. When the air cleared, Mira pointed her hand lamp down the long hall, revealing that it was made of stone, the width large enough for three people to walk abreast.
She stepped inside, her senses opened for a possible trap which might be laying in wait for those who dared enter within the corridor.She didn'’t feel anything amiss and continued on down. She could hear whispers of voices which hadn’t been heard for years, clamoring for attention, some speaking with welcome others of curiosity. Others had at first been hostile, but were then swept away by the others and Mira blocking them out of her mind. She make that they, her and her people had a task that needed fulfilling.
She led her motley group through another passage way, down some stairs to where they found themselves in a large foyer where a fountain was, in the center of it were three statues.
At the base of the statues were symbols, she read them aloud, “ Dark, Light and Gray, a place for all to meet.” but for what purpose and what did this mean? Normally, those that were of the different paths did not have a place of meeting in the same area. Why this was here, it was a mystery to the young Jedi master. A piece of history that was lost she surmised.
Unless…. this temple was a symbol of the changes that had taken place, with those who were users of the Force. Mentally shaking her head, Mira turned towards those that were with her.
"“We are here, and…” "
“And welcome”
Three voices seemed to reverberate in the large foyer, “Choose those who are willing to take the relics to their rightful places.”
Three openings in the wall behind the statues revealed themselves, each having the symbols Light, Dark and Gray.
"“Looks like it is time for this part to be finished, who among you are willing to go through this next phase."”
Seela spoke, “I may not have experience with the Force but, perhaps I can go into that middle opening and deliver the relic which belongs there.” She turned towards Hanoch and Resquar, "“What say you,or do we need to be sensitive to the force in order to accomplish this.”"
Directing the latter part of her question to Mira.
"“You may take it, as well as others who wish to go with you."” giving the captain of the Wolfstar a nod, then she looked towards the others.
"Who will be willing to take the light side and the dark side relics into the respective tunnels?"

Trystor followed quietly observing the temple after they landed and through the temple till where they stood currently.After hearing the disembodied voices place the challenge in front of Mira and the others. And here Mira ask for volunteers. Trystor looked over to Mira. "I know I am still rather inexperienced with the force and all, but I am willing to take either relic down its tunnel to its respective home.Master Mira. The dark one or the light one or even the grey one." Trystor said sincerely to her. As he watched for others to stand forward on there respective duties. Of course Master Mira had final say in all matters including this one.

Greystar landed and stepped into the Temple. He was surprised to find a symbol of the Grey to meet him. "I will take the Grey to its appointed place, Master." he said.

Greystar landed and stepped into the Temple. He was surprised to find a symbol of the Grey to meet him. "I will take the Grey to its appointed place, Master." he said.
Rade stood in the back, looking at Greystar, then at Mira. "Well... it seems there is a reason my Master sent me here after all..." She stepped forward to stand by Mira, ears folded back as she glared at the opening for the Dark, extending her senses toward it curiously.
After a moment, she looked up at Mira, then back toward the others. "Unless one of you also happens to be secretly a Sith Apprentice... Looks like I'm up for Dark."

Rai was pleased to see Trystor enjoying the ride that was one kid that really needed to let go and unwind a bit. The trip was a blast for Rai he spent his trip kind of weaving in and out passing through clouds and having a bit of adventure as he'd let him self leave the great creature and kind of free fall until he caught back up with the thranta as they both dove. He was laughing it up as he landed with the rest of the group. As he cooled down the creature he watched Mira open the door he felt the overwhelming flow of the force with light, dark and grey rush out with the stale air. Feeling woozy he choked down the urge hork out lunch and actually felt giddy with the opportunity something like this place.
Unbeknownst to him the pack that he had been carrying his recovered holochrons in had began to frost over. There was a mildly cold, calculating darkness to the frost that was being held back by the majority of the Jedi holochrons. Looking over to Greystar "Looks like we might be taking the same path." he said folding his arms. He then looked over to Mira. "If that is okay with you?" he grinned confidently.

Mira gave a nod towards Greystar and Rai at their requests. "You can go with the others down that path."
Dobby looked at Rade, after she had mentioned that she would go down the darkside path.
"I'm not a dark apprentice, but, I would like to go with you Rade." the young gran said with a determined expression in her eyes.
"Are you certain?" Mira queried the padawan.
"Yes, I am very certain." Dobby remarked emphatically.
Mira contemplated the Gran for a few moments then gave a slow nod. She wanted to tell Dobby not to go, but a whisper from the Force that it would be what needed to be.
"Very well." she looked at Rade, "Are you willing for that to happen? Dobby going with you?"
Nuana gasped when she heard Dobby's desire. "No... you just can't go."
Dobby looked towards Nuana. "It is my decision, and I feel that I need to go with Rade." her young voice sounding rather confident.

As much as Dobby's choice had surprised her, Mira felt the stirrings of the Force once more. Turning towards Trystor, Mira stated to him. "You will accompany me as we take the light side relic down its path. I know not what the Force has in store for those who take the paths they have chosen, all seems to be leading somewhere.
She looked towards Audyn, Nuana and Boskor and even Hardcase. "Will you be staying here to wait or will you be accompanying one of the three groups?"

Trystor looked at Master Mira as she spoke he let out a small smile as she spoke. "As you wish Master Mira!" as he looked at Bosker, Rai and the others as well. "Please be careful all of you !" feeling concern for the others.as he started to feel things from the Dark and grey tunnels.
He moved closer to Master Mira and stood quietly as he looked at both Rai and Bosker again.

Rade frowned down at Dobby, but couldn't argue her point. It was her decision what path she would choose, just as she had willingly chosen the Dark Side of the Force. If the Force was guiding the young Gran to follow her, who was she, a mere Apprentice, to argue?

Audyn, his lightsaber on full display here and within easy reach, turned and looked down at his apprentice.

Audyn knew that the pair of them had walked all three paths in their times leading up to this and above all else he wanted her to know he trusted her.

"I am honored to have somebody with me on the path." said Greystar to Rai. "I thought I would be alone now that master Gray took his leave of me." He heard Dobby's choice and he did nothing to deter it. "You must choose your own path, Dobby, my sister." he said. "Listen to Rade and stick close to her, and whatever happens, do not be afraid. That was my toughest lesson."
He paused. Something struck him, a vision of another that had faced a similar choice to him back at the temple on Coruscant and had fallen, and killed several of his friends before leaving with Vader. He saw it in a vision that flashed before him, one who had made a far different choice than Rade had, one her master had carefully kept her from. He wondered why he had seen this now, but didn't say anything. The true sith represented by Rade and her master, and the false which were represented by Vader and the Emperor, and this servant of theirs who had joined them, who took the path he had almost fallen into.

Trystor watched on as the others decided where they were going to go. When she saw Hardcase step up to Mira. "Need you ask who I will go with?" came from hardcase's lips. All that Trystor could do is smile at the exchange. For some strange reason he felt like smiling. Trystor rarely done it in the past with such truth to the smile that he never had before. It made him feel good.

Boskor had watched quietly as the others declared their choice of whitch door they would embrace in returning the artifacts that had brought them here. He smiled at least they were comitted to their choice even if it surprised him. Despite what he was learning and grateful to their friendship reguardless of whcih path they would now take here at the temple in all honesty could not deviate from the course he was already on.
He looked toward Mira then bowed to the master then spoke.
"If it is permitted Master Star, I would like to accompany the artifact through the door of light. My training for the most part has been such that I can see no reason to alter it now. However I will succumb to whatever decision you make for I am sure it will be in my best interest."
Rising from the bow he stood looking at the Jedi Master ready to accept whatever she said.

Rai looked over to Trystor "Remember what I taught ya, what ever your attitude so will be your response, distance is your best friend if you can hit them and they can't hit you you win and last remember your training with the flags." He reminded his apprentice "And don't lose my sword" the last part was mostly in jest and he winked at Mira to let her know that.

Rai nodded and grinned at Greystar "you bet" he was feeling energetic and took off at what he felt was a trot there was something about the pace he had set for him self and probably Greystar that made him feel clear. If he knew more about the force it would probably be called being one with the force or letting the force flow through him. For Rai though he just felt clear and energetic oh yeah he felt good. Looking over to Greystar as he 'trotted' Rai said "yeah after this i'm seeing steak and potatoes in my future yeah a baked potato loaded bacon, chives, butter and sour cream and the steak mmm!...." it was more of a growl "rare! and thick too" Rai showed how thick looking like an inch and a half. With a few looks in his eyes as he ran the talk of food was probably the most politically correct thing he had on his mind at the moment.
As the force flowed through and with him from time to time he heard a voice in his head and it wasn't his adviser ~now it's really just the process of stripping or removing kinetic energy from the atomic particles in an area.~
Rai hit the breaks and looked around he felt cool which was strange considering his pace. Looking over to Greystar when they stopped he asked "did you hear any thing? Something about kinetic energy?"

Mira looked at Rade, handing an amulet that was strung upon a silver chain. The metal of the amulet was black with the image of a cloaked man and a dark red ruby.
"This is the item. fortunately,it doesn't have the essence of its former owner." Mira said quietly. " Some do have the essence of the former owner,and they tend to try to possess those that come in contact with said item."
Dobby listened to what Mira had said, something telling her that perhaps Mira had known someone who had that sort of experience.
"Mira, I take it you knew of someone who had dealt with that before?"
Mira's purple eyes flashed down towards the small gran, crouching down to be at her level, " Yes, I know someone who had experienced that before. I won't name said person, as it is a rather personal matter for them. Sufficeth it to say, from what the person said, it isn't an event they would want to experience again, anytime soon."
Dobby solemnly nodded, hoping that she wouldn't have to experience that herself.
Mira didn't wish to reveal that the person whom she was speaking of, was herself. It happened upon this very planet. And like she had told Dobby, it was a rather personal experience, a life changing experience.Rising up she looked at Rade.
"Be safe."
Dobby nodded, then took several steps towards the dark side arch way and looked back towards Rade, then towards Cazak. "May the force be with all of us. " she whispered softly.

Nuana looked at Audyn, then closed her eyes as she tried to feel the direction that the Force wished her to go. It seemed like a long moment, as she sought guidance sorting through her emotions and putting them aside. Finally, it came to her, she was to walk the path of the light, going with Mira and those with her.
Opening her eyes, Nuana remarked to Audyn. "I feel drawn towards the lightside path. It is the direction at this time for me, that is us to follow."
Mira gave a nod towards Nuana, remarking, " You are welcome to come with."
She then turned to Boskor, "I would like you to hold this relic" handing him what looked like just a normal goblet carved out of highly polished wood.
Before those who chose the grey path left, Mira handed, Rai an simple statue,made of crystal. "Keep watch over it."
Motioning for those who were going with her to follow, Mira made her way through the archway.

Her right rested on her Lightsaber as he hung from her belt under her cloak. After several silent minutes of walking along, she glanced at the Gran beside her.
"Why did you come with me?" The teenaged Amaran asked softly.

Trystor felt a bit more comfortable that Bosker was joining them on the journey on the light side. He knew the force had its own direction for each member of the party.It did not make him feel at ease as his master was drawn to another path. before he spoke again. "Be well master Rai Don't have to much fun." Trystor tried to be lighthearted about Rai's decision but he started to choke up a bit. Even though he can be irritating he truely cared about all of his friends. "Good luck to you all!" Trystor said with a small smile that faded quickly as it appeared. as he moved closer to the light side gate. as he waited for the others to get ready.
Trystor started to feel a strange feeling from the gate as it was trying to entice him in.He did his best to hold his curiousity in check. As he waited patiently for the others to finish there decisions on what gate they were going into. And hearing the all clear from master Mira to proceed on since she is in charge of this particular team.He moved over to bosker."I am glad to see your going with us."he said quietly to him.

Boskor accepted the artifqact nodding to the master following the group as it proceeded. He couldn't help but smile at Trystor remark. He didn't i\undertand why the man hadn't followed Rai but no one was being forced to go where they didn't want to go. Honestly he didn't know what to expect but it really matter little to him. Whatever experience they gained from the temple would certainly be to their advantage as far as he was concerned.
He followed closely hanging on dearly to the object. Of course he didn't know why the objects were coming here. If it had been important enough to know then the master would have told them he supposed. His friend near him as they entered the gate the force being strong in the temple. Somehow that fact not important at the moment his expeience with temples certainly limited however sensed nothing to indicate concern.

Audyn smiled down at his apprentice as he placed his hand lightly on her back. Audyn's picture of his apprentice was continuing to evolve as the pair stepped to Mira, even though he would not have thought ill of her had she chosen the Dark or the Grey. "Always in motion is the future." Master Yoda was found of saying and Audyn knew his role as her teacher and guide but when it came down to it her future and what she did with it was entirely up to her.
"Ready when you are Master." Audyn said.

Trystor walked beside Bosker but kept alert for any surprises that might spring up. "are you ok Bokser?" your rather quietly to him not to disturb the others that were with them on this quest. "Are we returning them to this temple or is this more testing?" Trystor asked casually to him. Trystor was not sure what to expect on this quest.

He heard his friend's question and true a liittle nervious. "I am okay and suspect it may be both a returning aand a test for each of us." speaking very softly more intent on what was happening around him. He kept walking wanting to stay with the flow of the group. Holding still tightly to the artifact stepping lightly in tune with the others wishing not to break the concentration.of the group.Glancing at Trystor he smiled assuring his friend that all was okay. Glad that the artifact would be returned to where it belonged and relinquished to the temple.

Trystor was glad that all was good never hurt to ask. after seeing that smile he knew all was good so far and he noticed he was trying to keep up with the group and keep in harmony with the others. He shook his head letting him know he heard him and understood as he kept quiet until spoken to by master Mira or someone else asking a question. He walked quietly and along with the group and did his best to think nice thoughts.

"I felt strongly that I was supposed to be here with you. We've been through a bit together, when we escaped the Temple on Coruscant.Perhaps it is a learning experience for me and you? I do know one thing though its because you are my friend, yet actually more than that. More like family."

Rade had removed a small light from her belt and shined it over the wall that used to be an archway. "Yeah. No kidding." She turned to face down the path, scowling as she shined it over the floor, walls, and ceiling. "Well... let's go..." She resumed walking, one hand on her Lightsaber.

She gave a weak smile. "The Jedi Order got that part right at least." A beat. "I had always wondered about emotions and such. The Order was quite adamant that a Jedi could not let their emotions get control over them. The question I always had and could never get answered in the Temple was if emotions are a part of life, and the Force is life, why are they mutually exclusive?" She smiled. "My new Master had the answer; they are not. The Dark Side is about learning to control your emotions, and using them - not shunning them - to be one with the Force. The reason it is referred to as the Dark Side is because if you fail your emotions end up controlling you, and guide you to self-destruction as the darker emotions are the more powerful. They end up in control, and eventually destroy you."
She smiled down at Dobby. "My Master has taught me the importance of not letting those darker emotions guide my life. I am to control them, if I am to become a Sith Master."

As Greystar, holding the artifact of the Grey path walked down the tunnel, he looked over at Rai. "I didn't expect any to walk with me in the Grey path, expected to be alone after Master Gray left me. I am curious. What led you to go on the Grey path with me?"

The Grey Path
Here they were; Seela,Hanoch, Resquar, Greystar and Rai. The tall dark haired woman could only shake her head and give a slight smile. This was going to prove to be interesting. Two bonafide users of the force Greystar and Rai.
Hearing Greystar's comment, she gave him a wink towards the others and asked. "What, are we just chopped liver?"
Then going solemn, she commented. " I have had some experience with the force, back at another temple. It was when Charel was with us. Hanoch could only shake his head, "That is surprising to me, Seela. I never thought you'd fall for that sort of bunk."
Seela whirled to face Hanoch. "Look don't scoff at things like that, I've seen way too much to deny that there is something there. The Force."
She didn't go any further as she stared at the arch way through which they had come. It was no longer there. "Okay, looks like we are commited to the way we are going."
"You don't say, Princess." Hanoch teased Seela
"What did you just call me?" Seela hissed at Hanoch.
"You heard me, I called you, Princess." giving her wink, after he pulled out his light.
Seela just shook her head. "The person who could be called princess would be Mira, after all, her dad is a pirate king."
"No..Really?"
Seela nodded. "Yup and don't get any ideas, she's a happily married woman."
"If so...where is her husband?" baiting Seela once again.
"He went on a hunt, for someone rather tough." Seela replied, pulling out her own light.
Changing the subject, Seela asked, "What do you think we can expect going down this tunnel." asking Rai and Greystar.

The Light Path
Mira
Mira mentally counted those who were with her. There was Hardcase, Audyn and Nuana, Boskor, Trystor. Not a bad group. Leading the way forward, Mira heard the door close behind the group as they proceeded. Her senses stretched out down the hall, seeing if there were anything they would need to worry about. There was something there, but it was difficult to make out.
"Be wary, as there maybe something unexpected ahead of us."
As if to reflect her words, the tunnel ahead started filling with a grey mist, making the path ahead not so clearly seen. She tried to pierce the mist, carefully putting one foot in front of the other. She lightly stepped upn the floor and heard a rather quiet, click. She may have set something off!!
"Against the wall!!" she commanded, following her own advice, as she felt the breeze of something pass by. A quick glimpse showed a large crescent blade, swing like a pendulum its movement picking up some speed. In the dim light provided by her torch, Mira also noted something else which caused her some concern. While the bladed pendulum went the length of the hall, another was going the width of the hall, timed to make certain it didn't hit the other. Mira estimated the roof of the hall was twenty feet in height, the hall width, seven feet.
Mira figured she had a way to get through this, however this not only was a fulfillment of a quest, but also a learning experience.
"Ideas on how to get through this." she stated.

The Darkside Path
"There is still so much to be learned about the Force."Dobby replied. "What I had been taught was to control the emotions, but... I observed that there were those who had their own perception. I realized that Master Yoda had a caring side to him,and seemed calm when we made some mistakes. Well that is what I felt at any rate. The thing I had questions about was love,the older jedi triedto explain it to me, then told me that I wasn't old enough to understand. Love, affection for one another,I was told could be rather powerful, could send someone into either path. " Sounding rather more mature than her young years. "Life without the strength of love, would make a world not filled with color, and be remarkably dull and lifeless."
Dobby looked ahead of them, keeping a look out for what ever might end up happening or not happening. With her vision,the little gran was able to see the differences in temperature.There was something odd about the floor ahead of them, a cold spot then a hot spot.
"Ahead something doesn't seem quite right." Dobby commented. " I can't make out what it is."

"wow!" He said quietly enough to his surprise as he felt the breeze of the blades flying by him. "Could we use the force to slow or stop the blades?" Trystor offered. "I know right now that standing in the path of the blades is just a death sentence.to stand in a path. Trystor said with certainity. "Maybe there is a Level somewhere? in the mist? Trystor also offered. as he tryed to stay calm and collected. He was glad that all was well and no one got hurt from the first trap.

"I didn't expect any to walk with me in the Grey path, expected to be alone after Master Gray left me. I am curious. What led you to go on the Grey path with me?"
Returning to what was going on around him Rai paused a moment and though how best to explain his thinking. Pulling a tool from his belt he started explaining. "With this tool I can fix equipment, or build something." Rai changed his grip of the tool "But what if I chose to drive it into your temple?" the question was rhetorical of course. "Point is any thing can be used for light or dark reasons. Me I just want as many tools that I can use as I can."
Rai listened to his other two companions banter back and forth a bit and when asked
"What do you think we can expect going down this tunnel."
"I got no idea" he replied shaking his head. "Probably some sort of puzzle or something we have to fight." He added with a shrug.

Even as Mira yelled for the group to hug the wall Audyn's hand and arm shot out without any real concious thought on his part as his danger sense also tingled. Catching Nuana across the chest Audyn slammed them both against the wall as the blade came slicing through.

Chapter Eight: The Temple

The Old Temple
Mira looked down at the scenery below, the stretches of forest and woodlands, the silver ribbon of rivers and streams, she was smiling with some fond memory of some of her experiences here. They weren’t all bad.Her brow did furrow as she remembered the other not so pleasant memories. She did though learn from them. She directed her Thranta, to fly over the stretch of railroad tracks, upon which was a train, its smokestack belching forth a cloud of smoke and steam. Veering away from that and going more into the direction of the Temple, the landscape grew even more mountainous with crags and sharp jagged formations of rock. She kept a sharp eye out, for the area where she had been told they would be able to land.
Her thranta circled the area, then landed on a stone clearing, barely large enough for those Thrantas which her group were riding. When it settled, Mira lightly sprang from the back of her mount to the solid stone, with the grace of a dancer.
“We are here.” she called out to those with her.
At first glance around it didn’t seem that there was any way to access the temple from where they stood. Mira walked close to the granite walls of the building which was built into the side of the mountain, closed her eyes touching the surface. She knew that not all would seem obvious, this included a door which would be hidden. Concentrating, she allowed herself to meld with the force in order to find that what wasn’t seen. Her fingers found the one area where she needed to press, the door revealing itself by its seamless design sliding to one side. The air from the sealed side rushed out towards the more fresher air, bringing out with it a cloud of dust and stale air. When the air cleared, Mira pointed her hand lamp down the long hall, revealing that it was made of stone, the width large enough for three people to walk abreast.
She stepped inside, her senses opened for a possible trap which might be laying in wait for those who dared enter within the corridor.She didn'’t feel anything amiss and continued on down. She could hear whispers of voices which hadn’t been heard for years, clamoring for attention, some speaking with welcome others of curiosity. Others had at first been hostile, but were then swept away by the others and Mira blocking them out of her mind. She make that they, her and her people had a task that needed fulfilling.
She led her motley group through another passage way, down some stairs to where they found themselves in a large foyer where a fountain was, in the center of it were three statues.
At the base of the statues were symbols, she read them aloud, “ Dark, Light and Gray, a place for all to meet.” but for what purpose and what did this mean? Normally, those that were of the different paths did not have a place of meeting in the same area. Why this was here, it was a mystery to the young Jedi master. A piece of history that was lost she surmised.
Unless…. this temple was a symbol of the changes that had taken place, with those who were users of the Force. Mentally shaking her head, Mira turned towards those that were with her.
"“We are here, and…” "
“And welcome”
Three voices seemed to reverberate in the large foyer, “Choose those who are willing to take the relics to their rightful places.”
Three openings in the wall behind the statues revealed themselves, each having the symbols Light, Dark and Gray.
"“Looks like it is time for this part to be finished, who among you are willing to go through this next phase."”
Seela spoke, “I may not have experience with the Force but, perhaps I can go into that middle opening and deliver the relic which belongs there.” She turned towards Hanoch and Resquar, "“What say you,or do we need to be sensitive to the force in order to accomplish this.”"
Directing the latter part of her question to Mira.
"“You may take it, as well as others who wish to go with you."” giving the captain of the Wolfstar a nod, then she looked towards the others.
"Who will be willing to take the light side and the dark side relics into the respective tunnels?"

Trystor followed quietly observing the temple after they landed and through the temple till where they stood currently.After hearing the disembodied voices place the challenge in front of Mira and the others. And here Mira ask for volunteers. Trystor looked over to Mira. "I know I am still rather inexperienced with the force and all, but I am willing to take either relic down its tunnel to its respective home.Master Mira. The dark one or the light one or even the grey one." Trystor said sincerely to her. As he watched for others to stand forward on there respective duties. Of course Master Mira had final say in all matters including this one.

Rade stood in the back, looking at Greystar, then at Mira. "Well... it seems there is a reason my Master sent me here after all..." She stepped forward to stand by Mira, ears folded back as she glared at the opening for the Dark, extending her senses toward it curiously.
After a moment, she looked up at Mira, then back toward the others. "Unless one of you also happens to be secretly a Sith Apprentice... Looks like I'm up for Dark."

Rai was pleased to see Trystor enjoying the ride that was one kid that really needed to let go and unwind a bit. The trip was a blast for Rai he spent his trip kind of weaving in and out passing through clouds and having a bit of adventure as he'd let him self leave the great creature and kind of free fall until he caught back up with the thranta as they both dove. He was laughing it up as he landed with the rest of the group. As he cooled down the creature he watched Mira open the door he felt the overwhelming flow of the force with light, dark and grey rush out with the stale air. Feeling woozy he choked down the urge hork out lunch and actually felt giddy with the opportunity something like this place.
Unbeknownst to him the pack that he had been carrying his recovered holochrons in had began to frost over. There was a mildly cold, calculating darkness to the frost that was being held back by the majority of the Jedi holochrons. Looking over to Greystar "Looks like we might be taking the same path." he said folding his arms. He then looked over to Mira. "If that is okay with you?" he grinned confidently.

Mira gave a nod towards Greystar and Rai at their requests. "You can go with the others down that path."
Dobby looked at Rade, after she had mentioned that she would go down the darkside path.
"I'm not a dark apprentice, but, I would like to go with you Rade." the young gran said with a determined expression in her eyes.
"Are you certain?" Mira queried the padawan.
"Yes, I am very certain." Dobby remarked emphatically.
Mira contemplated the Gran for a few moments then gave a slow nod. She wanted to tell Dobby not to go, but a whisper from the Force that it would be what needed to be.
"Very well." she looked at Rade, "Are you willing for that to happen? Dobby going with you?"
Nuana gasped when she heard Dobby's desire. "No... you just can't go."
Dobby looked towards Nuana. "It is my decision, and I feel that I need to go with Rade." her young voice sounding rather confident.

As much as Dobby's choice had surprised her, Mira felt the stirrings of the Force once more. Turning towards Trystor, Mira stated to him. "You will accompany me as we take the light side relic down its path. I know not what the Force has in store for those who take the paths they have chosen, all seems to be leading somewhere.
She looked towards Audyn, Nuana and Boskor and even Hardcase. "Will you be staying here to wait or will you be accompanying one of the three groups?"

Trystor looked at Master Mira as she spoke he let out a small smile as she spoke. "As you wish Master Mira!" as he looked at Bosker, Rai and the others as well. "Please be careful all of you !" feeling concern for the others.as he started to feel things from the Dark and grey tunnels.
He moved closer to Master Mira and stood quietly as he looked at both Rai and Bosker again.

"I am honored to have somebody with me on the path." said Greystar to Rai. "I thought I would be alone now that master Gray took his leave of me." He heard Dobby's choice and he did nothing to deter it. "You must choose your own path, Dobby, my sister." he said. "Listen to Rade and stick close to her, and whatever happens, do not be afraid. That was my toughest lesson."
He paused. Something struck him, a vision of another that had faced a similar choice to him back at the temple on Coruscant and had fallen, and killed several of his friends before leaving with Vader. He saw it in a vision that flashed before him, one who had made a far different choice than Rade had, one her master had carefully kept her from. He wondered why he had seen this now, but didn't say anything. The true sith represented by Rade and her master, and the false which were represented by Vader and the Emperor, and this servant of theirs who had joined them, who took the path he had almost fallen into.

Trystor watched on as the others decided where they were going to go. When she saw Hardcase step up to Mira. "Need you ask who I will go with?" came from hardcase's lips. All that Trystor could do is smile at the exchange. For some strange reason he felt like smiling. Trystor rarely done it in the past with such truth to the smile that he never had before. It made him feel good.

Boskor had watched quietly as the others declared their choice of whitch door they would embrace in returning the artifacts that had brought them here. He smiled at least they were comitted to their choice even if it surprised him. Despite what he was learning and grateful to their friendship reguardless of whcih path they would now take here at the temple in all honesty could not deviate from the course he was already on.
He looked toward Mira then bowed to the master then spoke.
"If it is permitted Master Star, I would like to accompany the artifact through the door of light. My training for the most part has been such that I can see no reason to alter it now. However I will succumb to whatever decision you make for I am sure it will be in my best interest."
Rising from the bow he stood looking at the Jedi Master ready to accept whatever she said.

Rai looked over to Trystor "Remember what I taught ya, what ever your attitude so will be your response, distance is your best friend if you can hit them and they can't hit you you win and last remember your training with the flags." He reminded his apprentice "And don't lose my sword" the last part was mostly in jest and he winked at Mira to let her know that.

Rai nodded and grinned at Greystar "you bet" he was feeling energetic and took off at what he felt was a trot there was something about the pace he had set for him self and probably Greystar that made him feel clear. If he knew more about the force it would probably be called being one with the force or letting the force flow through him. For Rai though he just felt clear and energetic oh yeah he felt good. Looking over to Greystar as he 'trotted' Rai said "yeah after this i'm seeing steak and potatoes in my future yeah a baked potato loaded bacon, chives, butter and sour cream and the steak mmm!...." it was more of a growl "rare! and thick too" Rai showed how thick looking like an inch and a half. With a few looks in his eyes as he ran the talk of food was probably the most politically correct thing he had on his mind at the moment.
As the force flowed through and with him from time to time he heard a voice in his head and it wasn't his adviser ~now it's really just the process of stripping or removing kinetic energy from the atomic particles in an area.~
Rai hit the breaks and looked around he felt cool which was strange considering his pace. Looking over to Greystar when they stopped he asked "did you hear any thing? Something about kinetic energy?"

Mira looked at Rade, handing an amulet that was strung upon a silver chain. The metal of the amulet was black with the image of a cloaked man and a dark red ruby.
"This is the item. fortunately,it doesn't have the essence of its former owner." Mira said quietly. " Some do have the essence of the former owner,and they tend to try to possess those that come in contact with said item."
Dobby listened to what Mira had said, something telling her that perhaps Mira had known someone who had that sort of experience.
"Mira, I take it you knew of someone who had dealt with that before?"
Mira's purple eyes flashed down towards the small gran, crouching down to be at her level, " Yes, I know someone who had experienced that before. I won't name said person, as it is a rather personal matter for them. Sufficeth it to say, from what the person said, it isn't an event they would want to experience again, anytime soon."
Dobby solemnly nodded, hoping that she wouldn't have to experience that herself.
Mira didn't wish to reveal that the person whom she was speaking of, was herself. It happened upon this very planet. And like she had told Dobby, it was a rather personal experience, a life changing experience.Rising up she looked at Rade.
"Be safe."
Dobby nodded, then took several steps towards the dark side arch way and looked back towards Rade, then towards Cazak. "May the force be with all of us. " she whispered softly.

Nuana looked at Audyn, then closed her eyes as she tried to feel the direction that the Force wished her to go. It seemed like a long moment, as she sought guidance sorting through her emotions and putting them aside. Finally, it came to her, she was to walk the path of the light, going with Mira and those with her.
Opening her eyes, Nuana remarked to Audyn. "I feel drawn towards the lightside path. It is the direction at this time for me, that is us to follow."
Mira gave a nod towards Nuana, remarking, " You are welcome to come with."
She then turned to Boskor, "I would like you to hold this relic" handing him what looked like just a normal goblet carved out of highly polished wood.
Before those who chose the grey path left, Mira handed, Rai an simple statue,made of crystal. "Keep watch over it."
Motioning for those who were going with her to follow, Mira made her way through the archway.

Rade could only nod in agreement as she stepped through the entrance and onto the path, gloved fingers running over the artifact in her left hand. Her right rested on her Lightsaber as he hung from her belt under her cloak. After several silent minutes of walking along, she glanced at the Gran beside her.
"Why did you come with me?" The teenaged Amaran asked softly.

Trystor felt a bit more comfortable that Bosker was joining them on the journey on the light side. He knew the force had its own direction for each member of the party.It did not make him feel at ease as his master was drawn to another path. before he spoke again. "Be well master Rai Don't have to much fun." Trystor tried to be lighthearted about Rai's decision but he started to choke up a bit. Even though he can be irritating he truely cared about all of his friends. "Good luck to you all!" Trystor said with a small smile that faded quickly as it appeared. as he moved closer to the light side gate. as he waited for the others to get ready.
Trystor started to feel a strange feeling from the gate as it was trying to entice him in.He did his best to hold his curiousity in check. As he waited patiently for the others to finish there decisions on what gate they were going into. And hearing the all clear from master Mira to proceed on since she is in charge of this particular team.He moved over to bosker."I am glad to see your going with us."he said quietly to him.

Boskor accepted the artifqact nodding to the master following the group as it proceeded. He couldn't help but smile at Trystor remark. He didn't i\undertand why the man hadn't followed Rai but no one was being forced to go where they didn't want to go. Honestly he didn't know what to expect but it really matter little to him. Whatever experience they gained from the temple would certainly be to their advantage as far as he was concerned.
He followed closely hanging on dearly to the object. Of course he didn't know why the objects were coming here. If it had been important enough to know then the master would have told them he supposed. His friend near him as they entered the gate the force being strong in the temple. Somehow that fact not important at the moment his expeience with temples certainly limited however sensed nothing to indicate concern.

Audyn smiled down at his apprentice as he placed his hand lightly on her back. Audyn's picture of his apprentice was continuing to evolve as the pair stepped to Mira, even though he would not have thought ill of her had she chosen the Dark or the Grey. "Always in motion is the future." Master Yoda was found of saying and Audyn knew his role as her teacher and guide but when it came down to it her future and what she did with it was entirely up to her.
"Ready when you are Master." Audyn said.

Trystor walked beside Bosker but kept alert for any surprises that might spring up. "are you ok Bokser?" your rather quietly to him not to disturb the others that were with them on this quest. "Are we returning them to this temple or is this more testing?" Trystor asked casually to him. Trystor was not sure what to expect on this quest.

He heard his friend's question and true a liittle nervious. "I am okay and suspect it may be both a returning aand a test for each of us." speaking very softly more intent on what was happening around him. He kept walking wanting to stay with the flow of the group. Holding still tightly to the artifact stepping lightly in tune with the others wishing not to break the concentration.of the group.Glancing at Trystor he smiled assuring his friend that all was okay. Glad that the artifact would be returned to where it belonged and relinquished to the temple.

Trystor was glad that all was good never hurt to ask. after seeing that smile he knew all was good so far and he noticed he was trying to keep up with the group and keep in harmony with the others. He shook his head letting him know he heard him and understood as he kept quiet until spoken to by master Mira or someone else asking a question. He walked quietly and along with the group and did his best to think nice thoughts.

Rade could only nod in agreement as she stepped through the entrance and onto the path, gloved fingers running over the artifact in her left hand. Her right rested on her Lightsaber as he hung from her belt under her cloak. After several silent minutes of walking along, she glanced at the Gran beside her.
"Why did you come with me?" The teenaged Amaran asked softly.
Dobby was quiet as she walked beside Rade, trying to sense what could possibly lie before them. Looking upwards to her friend's eyes, the young gran replied.
"I felt strongly that I was supposed to be here with you. We've been through a bit together, when we escaped the Temple on Coruscant.Perhaps it is a learning experience for me and you? I do know one thing though its because you are my friend, yet actually more than that. More like family."
As the two continued on their way, there is a grating sound from behind.
Dobby whirled around, to see what was going on, her eyes widening when she saw a wall there instead of the archway which led into the foyer.
"Looks like the only way we can go is forward now." she said

The question I always had and could never get answered in the Temple was if emotions are a part of life, and the Force is life, why are they mutually exclusive?" She smiled. "My new Master had the answer; they are not. The Dark Side is about learning to control your emotions, and using them - not shunning them - to be one with the Force. The reason it is referred to as the Dark Side is because if you fail your emotions end up controlling you, and guide you to self-destruction as the darker emotions are the more powerful. They end up in control, and eventually destroy you."
She smiled down at Dobby. "My Master has taught me the importance of not letting those darker emotions guide my life. I am to control them, if I am to become a Sith Master."

As Greystar, holding the artifact of the Grey path walked down the tunnel, he looked over at Rai. "I didn't expect any to walk with me in the Grey path, expected to be alone after Master Gray left me. I am curious. What led you to go on the Grey path with me?"

The Grey Path
Here they were; Seela,Hanoch, Resquar, Greystar and Rai. The tall dark haired woman could only shake her head and give a slight smile. This was going to prove to be interesting. Two bonafide users of the force Greystar and Rai.
Hearing Greystar's comment, she gave him a wink towards the others and asked. "What, are we just chopped liver?"
Then going solemn, she commented. " I have had some experience with the force, back at another temple. It was when Charel was with us. According to him, I was wielding a lightsaber, and that there was a statue of which I had some resemblence to. After that was over, I had asked Charel if I actually had latent force powers. To my surprise, he told me that I had. And I didn't believe in that hocus pocus junk there."
Hanoch could only shake his head, "That is surprising to me, Seela. I never thought you'd fall for that sort of bunk."
Seela whirled to face Hanoch. "Look don't scoff at things like that, I've seen way too much to deny that there is something there. The Force."
She didn't go any further as she stared at the arch way through which they had come. It was no longer there. "Okay, looks like we are commited to the way we are going."
"You don't say, Princess." Hanoch teased Seela
"What did you just call me?" Seela hissed at Hanoch.
"You heard me, I called you, Princess." giving her wink, after he pulled out his light.
Seela just shook her head. "The person who could be called princess would be Mira, after all, her dad is a pirate king."
"No..Really?"
Seela nodded. "Yup and don't get any ideas, she's a happily married woman."
"If so...where is her husband?" baiting Seela once again.
"He went on a hunt, for someone rather tough." Seela replied, pulling out her own light.
Changing the subject, Seela asked, "What do you think we can expect going down this tunnel." asking Rai and Greystar.

The Light Path
Mira
Mira mentally counted those who were with her. There was Hardcase, Audyn and Nuana, Boskor, Trystor. Not a bad group. Leading the way forward, Mira heard the door close behind the group as they proceeded. Her senses stretched out down the hall, seeing if there were anything they would need to worry about. There was something there, but it was difficult to make out.
"Be wary, as there maybe something unexpected ahead of us."
As if to reflect her words, the tunnel ahead started filling with a grey mist, making the path ahead not so clearly seen. She tried to pierce the mist, carefully putting one foot in front of the other. She lightly stepped upn the floor and heard a rather quiet, click. She may have set something off!!
"Against the wall!!" she commanded, following her own advice, as she felt the breeze of something pass by. A quick glimpse showed a large crescent blade, swing like a pendulum its movement picking up some speed. In the dim light provided by her torch, Mira also noted something else which caused her some concern. While the bladed pendulum went the length of the hall, another was going the width of the hall, timed to make certain it didn't hit the other. Mira estimated the roof of the hall was twenty feet in height, the hall width, seven feet.
Mira figured she had a way to get through this, however this not only was a fulfillment of a quest, but also a learning experience.
"Ideas on how to get through this." she stated.

"There is still so much to be learned about the Force."Dobby replied. "What I had been taught was to control the emotions, but... I observed that there were those who had their own perception. I realized that Master Yoda had a caring side to him,and seemed calm when we made some mistakes. Well that is what I felt at any rate. The thing I had questions about was love,the older jedi triedto explain it to me, then told me that I wasn't old enough to understand. Love, affection for one another,I was told could be rather powerful, could send someone into either path. " Sounding rather more mature than her young years. "Life without the strength of love, would make a world not filled with color, and be remarkably dull and lifeless."
Dobby looked ahead of them, keeping a look out for what ever might end up happening or not happening. With her vision,the little gran was able to see the differences in temperature.There was something odd about the floor ahead of them, a cold spot then a hot spot.
"Ahead something doesn't seem quite right." Dobby commented. " I can't make out what it is."

"I know right now that standing in the path of the blades is just a death sentence.to stand in a path. Trystor said with certainity. "Maybe there is a Level somewhere? in the mist? Trystor also offered. as he tryed to stay calm and collected. He was glad that all was well and no one got hurt from the first trap.

Returning to what was going on around him Rai paused a moment and though how best to explain his thinking. Pulling a tool from his belt he started explaining. "With this tool I can fix equipment, or build something." Rai changed his grip of the tool "But what if I chose to drive it into your temple?" the question was rhetorical of course. "Point is any thing can be used for light or dark reasons. Me I just want as many tools that I can use as I can."
Rai listened to his other two companions banter back and forth a bit and when asked
"What do you think we can expect going down this tunnel."
"I got no idea" he replied shaking his head. "Probably some sort of puzzle or something we have to fight." He added with a shrug.

Even as Mira yelled for the group to hug the wall Audyn's hand and arm shot out without any real concious thought on his part as his danger sense also tingled. Catching Nuana across the chest Audyn slammed them both against the wall as the blade came slicing through.

"And most likely set off some kind of chain reaction and bury us all, THINK merc!" Audyn snapped.
"Not all of us were blessed with the force boy." Hardcase's altered voice came through the helmutt but the venom in it was all too clear. "Some of us have to rely on our wits, tech, and our own muscle!" Hardcase continued conviently leaving out her touching the force at another temple on another planet.
Audyn snorted "This temple was built by forces users so it only follows that affinity for it is a must to get to were we need to be." Audyn concluded giving Hardcase a distainfull look before turning back to the matter at hand.

She scraped up some of the dust and dirt in a hand, then tossed it ahead of them, watching it float and swirl over the floor. Over several spots it shifted differently - as if there was just a slight rise or fall in the floor, barely percievable.
She sat upright on her knees, scowling. "Pressure Plates..."

"Perhaps if we got the timing figured out perhaps then we can slip by these dangers, it is only a thought. I'm not thrilled about this anymore than anyone else if is controlled by the force itself I'.m not sure how it can be stopped by using our force abilities or will it just trigger some other trap. Were on the light path that suggests to me that maybe enightment might be the best recourse. Certanly cannot let fear domninate us. Cool heads will prevail in the end." He made sure the artifact was still secured with him as he thought the matter over.

The Grey Path
Greystar was about to answer, when the place they were in shook. The floor before them fell away, and what was there was divided in two. On one side was bright, white-hot seething light. On the other was cold, roiling darkness, darkness that could be felt. There was a narrow path between, narrow as a thread, razor-sharp, the path that led onward from where they stood. In a flash, Greystar saw the very path he was on, between the Light Side and the Dark Side, and how narrow his path really was. He felt the heat of one side and the cold of the other beating against him.
"It seems we need to put our total trust in the Force and tread carefully from here on." he said. He put the arifact in his belt and took out both lightsabers, the white one against the excesses of the Light Side, and the red, Tavi one against the excesses of the Dark Side. He looked to his companions.

"As I said it was an idea?" Trystor commented as he went quiet and waited for other to respond from there group. He had already given his ideas that he could think of. But he understood Boskor's reasoning on his input to the situation and was not mad at him. Even when Trystor posed the ideas he had he still had concerns about them as well. He looked at the others in turn slowly to see who was next to add to the puzzle to find a good solution.

"I'm not knocking your idea per say but perhaps there is a better way. I could levitate over them without touching the floor beneath in case it is booby trapped. I'm open to any ideas from the others. I don't know anything about the artifact I'm carrying, Is it special or has some signifignace that we all should be aware about?" Mira your the leader and you hve the wisdom most of us don't. Any comment would be wlcomed.

Trystor tried to make sure he understood what bosker was saying and not get mad or angry of silly comments. He knew anger and other emotional actions right now is not a good thing to have.especially for a new trainee. Trystor remained calm as he could even though this was not one of the safe times with things swinging with razor like blades on them. "what if we used the device itself as a way through like swinging on vines??" Trystor offered a new idea. "this way were not near the blades and we should be a bit safer to get past." Trystor still felt the the breeze the trap was giving off.

Trystor commented as he still felt the air brushing near to him."Maybe this test is meant to be a sacarfice??" Trystor commented still analyzing the issue.trying to give all ideas out there.

Boskort sighed looking up at the ceiling. Took a death breath and lean closer to the wall. The swooshing sound of the blades were bercoming annoying. Lifting his hands from his sides he spoke.
"Well if were going to start it might as well be me. As we know these safeguards were here to protect the temple from looters. It just doesn't know our mission is to return the artifacts to it's safekeeping. I don't believe that I will have much of a problem getting past them and can only hope that they will reset once I do. It is I who should go so I will."
He used the force to draw himself upwars toward the ceiling ut not touching it. Reaching out with the force and positive thoughts of him returning the artifacts to the temple's safekeeping. Wathcing the blade approach he waited as it began to move the other way before making his move. Now safely pass he lowered himself slowly to the floor.
"Okay I am pass the obstickles. Give it a few minutes to see what happens."

Flicking an ear, Rade looked up. "Yeah. There is an opening under the plates for them to settle into when you step on them. Probably causes a very slight temprature difference." She looked down the hallway. "I would like to know what kind of traps they are, but we're probably on a schedule."
Dobby scratched her head thinking over what Mira had stated earlier. "Well I don't recall her saying we were on a time schedule.We just needed to get the relic to its proper place. I wouldn't mind finding out the kind of traps. A learning process."
Rade smirked. "Okay then. Step way back." Points behind her as she draws her Tanto, igniting the red blade.
Dobby went as far back as possible, waiting to see what happened.
The Amaran stuck the tip of the blade in a wall, and with a twist carved out a fist-sized chunk of rock. Deactivating the blade she walked back to stand with Dobby, then using the Force she levitated it over the exposed pressure plate. Then dropped it.
There was a distinct click, out from the walls shot arrows across the hall at different levels, it would have caught those who weren't alert both large and small.
Dobby's eyes widened, "That wouild have skewered us for certain."
"Yeah... nasty..." She waited a moment after the shooting stopped and cautiously moved foward to examine where they had been fired from. "Ooookay... Where's the next one?"
Dobby followed after Rade carefully stepping on the stones that seemed safe, She noticed that there was something odd about the next part of the corridor, part of the floor seemed cooler than the others. "There is something here." she stated. She could make out another pressure plate, although this seems to cover most of the hall.
"What do you see?" Rade crouched, studying the floor.
"Pressure plate running across the width of the hall, Think it might be a pit? I'm feeling some cooler air coming from the edge here."
Rade nodded. "Mark the edge of it..." She looked up at the ceiling, shining her light along the edges of it. "How far do you think it extends?"
"Cover the light and let my eyes adjust I might be able to tell you."
She turned off the light, using her own low-light vision to study the floor, extending her Force Sense to try and get an idea of where the stone begins... and ends.
Rade sighed. "... ooookay..." It seemed to extend about 50 feet straight ahead. She seemed to focus inward, thinking of a solution to the puzzle before her.
"What have you learned from your teacher?" Dobby asked.
After a minute she finally stood up. "That there is always a way. We just have to find it... and trust the Force." She looked up toward the ceiling and glared, extending herself to wrap around the edges of the ceiling panel. "With the Dark Side, your determination shows you the path... shows you how to MAKE one..." Dust and dirt began to fall as the ceiling began to come loose.
She raised a hand, and clenched a gloved fist... then 'pulled' downward. There is a tremendous CRASH as the stone ceiling panel crashes downward, creating a bridge over the trap. "..." Rade slowly smiled. "... like so..."
Dobby smiled. "And something like that was what Yoda stated as trusting in the Force and that even a small one can move a mountain if need be. Somewhat similar and that was an awesome solution!" She grinned in return.
Rade hopped up, crossing the improvised bridge. "Yeah... I recall..." She frowned, leading the way. "I also wonder if his solution would have been to use the Force to 'fly' across the trap."
"Probably so, we'll have to keep that in mind when we come to our next challenge. " Dobby stated hopping up onto the makeshift bridge and following Rade. Dobby glanced upwards as they were in the center, her eyes catching somthing from above. She caught a glimpse of something which glowed, circling over head. "Uh Rade? We've got to move now!" feeling her skin prickle.
The glow was from something like an orb they had used when practicing with a light saber. However it didn't seem solid more like something from the Force.
Rade drew her Lightsabers, igniting both. "Go! And watch your step!" She motioned for Dobby to lead the way.
Dobby moved forward, feeling the sense of urgency as the force orb darted towards Rade and the young gran.
Rade took a few steps back, and growled, taking a defensive posture. She waited for the orb to make its move before suddenly shifting to the right and slashing with the shorter blade.

"Perhaps if we got the timing figured out perhaps then we can slip by these dangers, it is only a thought. I'm not thrilled about this anymore than anyone else if is controlled by the force itself I'.m not sure how it can be stopped by using our force abilities or will it just trigger some other trap. The Grey Path
Greystar was about to answer, when the place they were in shook. The floor before them fell away, and what was there was divided in two. On one side was bright, white-hot seething light. On the other was cold, roiling darkness, darkness that could be felt. There was a narrow path between, narrow as a thread, razor-sharp, the path that led onward from where they stood. In a flash, Greystar saw the very path he was on, between the Light Side and the Dark Side, and how narrow his path really was. He felt the heat of one side and the cold of the other beating against him.
"It seems we need to put our total trust in the Force and tread carefully from here on." he said. He put the arifact in his belt and took out both lightsabers, the white one against the excesses of the Light Side, and the red, Tavi one against the excesses of the Dark Side. He looked to his companions.

"As I said it was an idea?" Trystor commented as he went quiet and waited for other to respond from there group. He had already given his ideas that he could think of. But he understood Boskor's reasoning on his input to the situation and was not mad at him. Even when Trystor posed the ideas he had he still had concerns about them as well. He looked at the others in turn slowly to see who was next to add to the puzzle to find a good solution.

"I'm not knocking your idea per say but perhaps there is a better way. I could levitate over them without touching the floor beneath in case it is booby trapped. I'm open to any ideas from the others. I don't know anything about the artifact I'm carrying, Is it special or has some signifignace that we all should be aware about?" Mira your the leader and you hve the wisdom most of us don't. Any comment would be wlcomed.

Trystor tried to make sure he understood what bosker was saying and not get mad or angry of silly comments. He knew anger and other emotional actions right now is not a good thing to have.especially for a new trainee. Trystor remained calm as he could even though this was not one of the safe times with things swinging with razor like blades on them. "what if we used the device itself as a way through like swinging on vines??" Trystor offered a new idea. "this way were not near the blades and we should be a bit safer to get past." Trystor still felt the the breeze the trap was giving off.

"Whatever we decide to do we should not come at it from aggression." Audyn said as the blade rushed by. "Call it a feeling but I believe each path would resist, strongly, any action that is not cogent with its way. Besides once we deposit the artifact we want to leave the defenses in place."

"agreed!" came from Trystor."true!" as trystor looked at the others waiting for there opinions." I believe anger or any other negitive emotion will be a bad thing to do." Trystor commented as he still felt the air brushing near to him."Maybe this test is meant to be a sacarfice??" Trystor commented still analyzing the issue.trying to give all ideas out there.

Boskort sighed looking up at the ceiling. Took a death breath and lean closer to the wall. The swooshing sound of the blades were bercoming annoying. Lifting his hands from his sides he spoke.
"Well if were going to start it might as well be me. As we know these safeguards were here to protect the temple from looters. It just doesn't know our mission is to return the artifacts to it's safekeeping. I don't believe that I will have much of a problem getting past them and can only hope that they will reset once I do. It is I who should go so I will."
He used the force to draw himself upwars toward the ceiling ut not touching it. Reaching out with the force and positive thoughts of him returning the artifacts to the temple's safekeeping. Wathcing the blade approach he waited as it began to move the other way before making his move. Now safely pass he lowered himself slowly to the floor.
"Okay I am pass the obstickles. Give it a few minutes to see what happens."

Flicking an ear, Rade looked up. "Yeah. There is an opening under the plates for them to settle into when you step on them. Probably causes a very slight temprature difference." She looked down the hallway. "I would like to know what kind of traps they are, but we're probably on a schedule."
Dobby scratched her head thinking over what Mira had stated earlier. "Well I don't recall her saying we were on a time schedule.We just needed to get the relic to its proper place. I wouldn't mind finding out the kind of traps. A learning process."
Rade smirked. "Okay then. Step way back." Points behind her as she draws her Tanto, igniting the red blade.
Dobby went as far back as possible, waiting to see what happened.
The Amaran stuck the tip of the blade in a wall, and with a twist carved out a fist-sized chunk of rock. Deactivating the blade she walked back to stand with Dobby, then using the Force she levitated it over the exposed pressure plate. Then dropped it.
There was a distinct click, out from the walls shot arrows across the hall at different levels, it would have caught those who weren't alert both large and small.
Dobby's eyes widened, "That wouild have skewered us for certain."
"Yeah... nasty..." She waited a moment after the shooting stopped and cautiously moved foward to examine where they had been fired from. "Ooookay... Where's the next one?"
Dobby followed after Rade carefully stepping on the stones that seemed safe, She noticed that there was something odd about the next part of the corridor, part of the floor seemed cooler than the others. "There is something here." she stated. She could make out another pressure plate, although this seems to cover most of the hall.
"What do you see?" Rade crouched, studying the floor.
"Pressure plate running across the width of the hall, Think it might be a pit? I'm feeling some cooler air coming from the edge here."
Rade nodded. "Mark the edge of it..." She looked up at the ceiling, shining her light along the edges of it. "How far do you think it extends?"
"Cover the light and let my eyes adjust I might be able to tell you."
She turned off the light, using her own low-light vision to study the floor, extending her Force Sense to try and get an idea of where the stone begins... and ends.
Rade sighed. "... ooookay..." It seemed to extend about 50 feet straight ahead. She seemed to focus inward, thinking of a solution to the puzzle before her.
"What have you learned from your teacher?" Dobby asked.
After a minute she finally stood up. "That there is always a way. We just have to find it... and trust the Force." She looked up toward the ceiling and glared, extending herself to wrap around the edges of the ceiling panel. "With the Dark Side, your determination shows you the path... shows you how to MAKE one..." Dust and dirt began to fall as the ceiling began to come loose.
She raised a hand, and clenched a gloved fist... then 'pulled' downward. There is a tremendous CRASH as the stone ceiling panel crashes downward, creating a bridge over the trap. "..." Rade slowly smiled. "... like so..."
Dobby smiled. "And something like that was what Yoda stated as trusting in the Force and that even a small one can move a mountain if need be. Somewhat similar and that was an awesome solution!" She grinned in return.
Rade hopped up, crossing the improvised bridge. "Yeah... I recall..." She frowned, leading the way. "I also wonder if his solution would have been to use the Force to 'fly' across the trap."
"Probably so, we'll have to keep that in mind when we come to our next challenge. " Dobby stated hopping up onto the makeshift bridge and following Rade. Dobby glanced upwards as they were in the center, her eyes catching somthing from above. She caught a glimpse of something which glowed, circling over head. "Uh Rade? We've got to move now!" feeling her skin prickle.
The glow was from something like an orb they had used when practicing with a light saber. However it didn't seem solid more like something from the Force.
Rade drew her Lightsabers, igniting both. "Go! And watch your step!" She motioned for Dobby to lead the way.
Dobby moved forward, feeling the sense of urgency as the force orb darted towards Rade and the young gran.
Rade took a few steps back, and growled, taking a defensive posture. She waited for the orb to make its move before suddenly shifting to the right and slashing with the shorter blade.
