Chapter 5d: The Sith
08-15-2011, 12:58 AM
< The Black Hind >
< Adrift near Ambria >
Rade faced her master, the ship was well on its way to its destination she paced in a circle in the cargo hold. the only thing that a casual obser would consider odd was the fact that her face was completely consealed, she wore a sensory deprevation helmet, an oxogen filter prevented scent from getting through while a blast shield and sound dampeners blocked all visual and aural stimuli. even thus she kept a fixed "stare" at her master reguardless. she was channelling through the force to feel where her opponant was, the headset inside the helmet allowed communication while preventing the auditory cues for the location of the Master
"Are you ready?" The Sith Master twirled her Lightsaber as she slowly paced around the young Amaran. The lust of battle flowed through her, eager to test her Apprentice to the extreame.
"Yes I am , Master." Rade replied, taking an attack stance she pounced toward her master, the sweep of the golden blade would be enough to slice a clone trooper in half. She homed in on the Master's force signature...
But the Master wasn't there... There was an electric crash of her own silver blade against the golden blade of the apprentice as she knocked it aside effortlessly. "Don't use what they taught you in the Jedi Temple. Let not only the Force but your emotions flow through you. Seize on the one that helps, turn it it to your advantage. Control it. Use it!" She continued to pace in slow circles, her own powers flowing around them, luring in the young Amaran.
Rade took a step to the side, her own aura changing as her emotions started to build up, her annoyance at the Master turning into anger. She looked back and fourth, seizing on where the Master should be, and attacked once again. Missing as she sliced open a cargo crate she spun around, her anger turning to fury. "Now that was just..." She roiled and seethed as she took a standard battle stance.
"Good!" The Master laughed as she stepped forward to knock the Apprentice's blade aside and stepped back to dodge a returning strike. "Never suppress who you are. You are Sith now. The truth is laid open for you to seize and learn. Take it! Take what was denied to you by your previous masters, what was stolen from you when you were taken from your family, what was nearly stolen from you by that gang on Coruscant... channel all those emotions and use them to your advantage! Don't hide them like your Jedi Masters taught you."
The answer to that was a roar of fury, more of a feral scream than what should emerge from a sentient being. The attack was not one for training, but one to kill the target. She was letting the anger flow as the memory of the Rape gang emerged, something she had tried hard to forget in the days since then. Boiling full force now, the fear of her prerdicament, the anger at herself for being weak and not being able to use the force to defend herself... The attack was merciless, coming at what seemed like several angles as her speed increased several times over.
The blades clashed again and again as the Master laughed with pure evil and malice as she effortlessly deflected the attack. "Yes! Let it all flow out, use that anger! Control it!" Back and forth across the cargo bay the two dueled, the Master urging on the Apprentice to use her emotions to fuel her powers. To control the Force. To slip further and further into the Dark Side...
Rade could see around herself an almost errie luminecense. Instead of the general feeling where someone was there it was as if the energies around herself had become something she could see. The area around her was black but the siluettes of the objects were sharp, the energies of the force flowing added a light blue glow to everything. Her master was dark crimson as the battle continued. Rade Force grabbed a nearby object, in this case a deactivated battle droid, and threw it at her Master.
The Master continued to laugh, catching the Droid in midair. "Now, now, we need those!" She dropped it onto a nearby crate as she lashed out with her Lightsaber in a deadly attack. A flurry of blows, pressuring the Apprentice to use her newfound strength to defend herself from attacks from mutiple directions. "Show me what you have, child! Show me why I shouldn't throw you back to that Rape Gang!"
Rade was absolutly furious, her anger feeding her awareness, coloring it in in splashes of color around her. She blocked each of the blows, turning from attack to defence, keeping up with each slash with a parry of her own - only just. Finally in outright indignation she made a fist with one hand and struck out at her Master's head.
The Master stopped laughing, catching the hand in her own gloved hand and deactivating her blade. "There we go..." She said calmly, pushing the young Amaran against a bulkhead. "You felt it, didn't you?"
Rade reached up to take the helmet off. "Yes, things were much clearer than they were under my Jedi Masters, before things were vauge like an impressionist holopainting." She said, panting hard.
The eldar Amaran smiled. "What did it feel like? To unleash your anger, your pent up emotions rather than suppressing them?" She purrrred evily.
"I...felt...Alive." She finally said, the fur on her face matted with the sweat and heat of the helmet.
The Master released her old on the young Apprentice. "Good. Your skills dramaticaly increased when you released yourself from your constraints. But to use such power effectively you will need to learn control. Remember that." She smiled and turned away. "Get yourself cleaned up. I will have another task for you soon." She clipped the lightsaber to her belt as she headed for the cockpit.
Rade made her way to the sonics, draping her outfit into the hands of a droid which was temperarally doing the housemaid duties. She stepped into the sonic shower, the fur vibrating as the sweat and dirt were shaken off. Not long thereafter, she emerged and put on a simple jumpsuit of black and grey plus her cloak, leaving the hood down she herself finally made her way to the cockpit as well.

Rade spent more time in the Cargo hold to keep up her training. after this particular session and before she headed to the showers she poked her head into the cockpit to check on the pilot droid, which had a tendency to cause minor course alterations as its programming refreshed from the droid control core.
Rade noticed that the course was altered indeed, checking on the numbers, it was far more than what the droid would cause by simple error. the course was taking them close, nay on an intercept course to a system and a planet well known to her. a planet to which would be visible once they dropped out of Hyperspace.

As the ship emerged from Hyperspace, the Master stepped onto the cockpit and smirked, seeing Rade standing there. "Been awhile since you've been here, hasn't it?"
Rade nods; "Yes master. I was but a pup when i was last here, before i was part of the Order."
She nods as well, watching as Corana directed the Pilot Droids to follow protocol for a ship coming in for trading. "I was a young teen when I left... my family was turning me over to the Order. It was my Master who rescued me. I haven't come back here since..."
She sighed. "But if we're to proceed onward, we need to refuel and replenish here." She watched her Apprentice carefully.
Rade looked over at her Master. "My family still lives here. They never left the Homeworld. After my indoctrination I never saw them again, it is not the Jedi Way to keep in contact with our family members, it would distract from studies."
A small smile came over her face; "However i am not a Jedi anymore..."
The Master nods thoughtfully. "True... Family is important. It makes us who we are." She frowns. "But I warn you... the reason I never look up my own family may be the same reason that you may not like what you find..."
Rade seemed to consider this. "... However i wish to see how they have done without me. They may think I am dead along with the rest of the Order. While we are here, i want to fulfill a chapter of my life denied me by the Jedi."
The Master smiled and nods in turn. "Very well. We shall be here for two days. You think you could track them down in that time?"
Rade looked thoughtfull for a moment. "Yes. As with all Amaran whom do trading, they have a license, I can look them up in the world database." She looked confedent and stood tall as she spoke, the desire to see her family denied her was cheering her out of her mood she had the past few days.
The Master nods and looks at the viewports, nodding for Corana to take the ship in. "Very well." She smiles.

There was a disturbance in the Force.
Mediating in the main hold, the older Amaran female with the dark-tinged red fur frowned with her eyes closed. She ignored the sounds of the B1 Battle Droids sorting cargo around her under the direction of an R2 unit, and instead focused inward on what she was feeling.
There was another. A Rogue. She could not pin down its location, unlike she did with the potential of Darth Rade, but it was definitely there. Loose, unconstrained, determined.
This was a problem.
She opened her eyes and scowled. If this rogue were to discover the location of her hidden 'project' on Da Soocha, this could unfurl millennium of plans laid by her predecessors. This could not be allowed!
She sent a tendril out through the Force. Within a minute, the felinoid alien appeared.
"You summoned me, Master?"
"I did, my pet." The vulpanoid unfurled herself and levitated over her black cloak. "Prepare for Departure. We will heave a message for my Apprentice with the Harbormaster to track us down. She may consider this another test of her budding powers."
"Of course, My Master." The Farghul replied softly and bowed, before heading to the Bridge.
Darth Byrna smiled. It was time to show the Galaxy what it meant when one earned the title 'Dark Lord of the Sith'...
